Why Showground Dental Care
Before we commence with any dental work, it’s important to fill in a questionnaire about your medical and dental history. This helps us determine the best course of action for you.
During your first visit we focus on working out a treatment plan together. We simply focus on talking to you, listening to you and putting together a dental treatment plan that is tailored to your personal needs.
Should you require emergency treatment, this is a priority and will most certainly be attended to first.
We will perform a comprehensive intra-oral and extra-oral examination, which includes:
- The tongue, lips, cheeks and throat for any redness; as well as swelling or any signs of oral cancer
- Teeth
- Previous dental work, such as: filling, crown or veneer
- Gums and surrounding structure
- Bite jaw joint evaluation
We reward our patients with a new toothbrush and toothpaste when they have their regular check up and clean.
We have stickers and small toys for the children to choose from at the end of each appointment plus peace of mind with our comprehensive infection control process to keep you safe!
At Showground Dental Care, your health is our number one priority. Rigorous measures are undertaken before and after every appointment to ensure every patient experiences a safe, clean and happy visit with us. We take this very seriously.We follow the NSW Health Infection Control guidelines making sure that everything is sterilized or disposable. Once sterilized in our hospital grade autoclave, instruments are kept sealed in sterile pouches until they are used. We also provide emergency dental service for walk in dental patients.
